About The Position
A reputable engineering firm is seeking a Senior Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to join their growing team in Columbus! This is a hybrid position.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or other relevant field
- 5+ years of experience
- PE License preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
- Water/wastewater treatment experience preferred
- Experience with processing modeling software preferred
- Familiarity with federal and state environmental rules and regulations
- Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Collect/review data, perform calculations, prepare contract documents to assist with the design
- Assist project team on preliminary/final design documents using AutoCAD Civil 3D/Revit
- Assist with preparation of preliminary engineering design reports/ studies
- Work on design projects involving treatment process and hydraulic analysis, equipment selection and layout for either water or wastewater treatment facilities
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations
