We immerse ourselves in our customers’ world, reveal unknowns and deliver integrated solutions. We are seeking a Senior Warranty Lab Technician to help facilitate our customer experience. This role requires a highly motivated individual driven to provide top of the line customer service and clear a path for our customers success.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in failure analysis, troubleshooting, or product evaluation.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with diagnostic and test equipment including multimeters, microscopes, power supplies, function generators, and oscilloscopes.
  • Experience testing electro-mechanical parts using standard test equipment and analyzing performance
  • Advanced soldering techniques in both through-hole and surface-mount technologies.
  • Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, specifications, and engineering documentation, and work from written or verbal instructions with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

  • IPC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and analyze returned electrical and mechanical products to determine failure modes and validate customer-reported issues.
  • Perform detailed visual inspections, functional testing, and diagnostic procedures on returned units.
  • Document findings clearly and accurately, including photos, measurements, supporting data, and observations.
  • Prepare comprehensive failure analysis reports for internal teams and customers.
  • Mentor and support junior technicians by providing training on analysis techniques, test methods, and best practices.
  • Develop, refine, and document test methods and analysis procedures to replicate and validate customer-reported failures.
  • Repair or replace defective circuitry or electronic components using hand tools and soldering equipment
  • Collaborate with quality engineers to support customer returns and provide technical explanations related to product use or application.
  • Communicate findings to the quality team and support the development of corrective actions to prevent recurring failures.
  • Support containment, corrective action, and verification activities associated with customer complaints.
  • Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities in warranty processes, product quality, and testing methods.
