About The Position

The Warehouse Operations Manager – Commissary/Production oversees warehouse, inventory, and logistics operations supporting centralized food production and distribution. This role ensures food safety, operational efficiency, inventory integrity, and on-time delivery to multiple downstream locations.

Requirements

ERP experience and data-driven decision-making required
Demonstrated change management skills with ability to implement Lean Manufacturing principles
Proven leader and communicator with a passion for developing teams

Nice To Haves

Experience in commissary, production, manufacturing, or large-scale food distribution environments
Strong understanding of production flow, cold-chain management, and regulatory compliance
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a minimum of 3–5 years of relevant operational experience

Responsibilities

Lead warehouse operations for raw material receipt, finished goods storage, and outbound distribution
Ensure compliance with food safety, HACCP, sanitation, and regulatory standards
Coordinate production schedules with inventory availability and delivery timelines
Implement Lean manufacturing and inventory flow practices to reduce waste and improve throughput
Manage fleet operations, delivery routing, and final-mile distribution
Optimize inventory flow, minimize waste, and ensure safe, cost-effective transportation
Maintain KPIs related to inventory turns, spoilage, productivity, and delivery performance
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse, logistics, and safety functions
Provide short- and long-term leadership of warehouse staff, inbound/outbound operations, replenishment, and employee safety
