CGI Federal is seeking a Senior Virtualization Specialist to architect and operate DCVI—owning VMware (ESXi/VCF/Horizon), Hyper V, storage/network integrations, and enterprise hardening. This position is located in Baltimore, MD Your future duties and responsibilities:

Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
• Bachelor's degree +14 years of relevant IT experience
• Expert VMware stack & Hyper V; Dell server/iDRAC; EMC storage; PowerShell.
• Security hardening aligned to STIG/NIST/FISMA.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with VDI at federal scale
• Experience with lab validation processes for firmware/patches.

Responsibilities

• Design multi cluster ESXi/VCF architectures
• Manage vCenter/SSO/Aria Ops & Automation
• Implement Horizon at scale.
• Lead Hyper V deployments on Windows Server 2022/2025; implement backup/DR (e.g., Veritas) and PowerShell automation.
• Deliver configuration docs/diagrams; run incident/change processes in ServiceNow.
