Role Overview This Senior Specialist-level role within the Marketing and Communications is responsible for the technical execution and day-to-day operations of Cboe Studios’ video production and broadcast infrastructure, with a focus on our trading floor studios. The Sr. Specialist, Video Production supports live and recorded content creation, coordinates with external broadcast partners, and helps ensure the seamless delivery of high-quality video content across platforms. Cboe Studios is the company’s in-house multimedia group, responsible for corporate video, broadcast television, live events, webcasts, podcasts, photography, and social media content. As a key member of our growing team, the Sr. Specialist, Video Production will support and execute the installation, operation, and maintenance of A/V systems—including cameras, microphones, switchers, encoders, control systems, and digital signage across Cboe’s trading floor, studios, and event spaces. The role is responsible for executing live video production and streaming, remote production, photography, and media asset management for both internal and external communications. Serving both production and engineering functions, this role plays a critical part in executing live network hits, real-time content creation, and media distribution. The role works closely with traders, executives, clients, and media partners to ensure seamless technical execution and high-quality video delivery.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in video production, or related field.
  • Diplomatic and customer-centric approach while managing relationships with a variety of personality styles including executives, trading floor officials, floor visitors, clients, and floor traders.
  • Ability to work in fast paced working environment while maintaining a calm demeanor.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience executing live event and/or broadcast productions (studio, field, or remote).
  • Expert experience with Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Experience supporting high-visibility productions and working with executive stakeholders.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Financial services experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate day-to-day coordination between Cboe Studios and external broadcast partners, ensuring alignment on technical standards and production timelines.
  • Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot Vizrt TriCaster, LiveU, and other live production systems for real-time network appearances, live hits, multi-person interviews, and live bell ringings for external and internal clients from the trading floor.
  • Execute and support planning and coordination of live broadcast scheduling, technical setup, camera operation, and configuration of IFB, return feeds, and audio routing for talent and remote contributors.
  • Support streaming workflows and infrastructure—Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot live streams using RTMP, SRT, and NDI protocols across multiple platforms, collaborating with IT to ensure proper network performance.
  • Set-up, operate, and support studio and field production setups including multi-camera shoots in studio and field environments, including lighting, audio, and camera systems, and provide technical support for remote productions.
  • Capture and edit video content for corporate communications, social media, external clients, and internal events using AI, audio tools, and elements from the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, including Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
  • Capture photographs for bell ringings, internal and special events using DSLR cameras, edit and retouch RAW images in Lightroom and Photoshop, and deliver final images to client specifications.
  • Shoot on-camera talent solo or in small teams, set up and tear down production equipment, and work with remote talent to ensure proper audio/video capture.
  • Collaborate with the Sr. Director, Cboe Studios and Corporate Communications team to develop digital media and social content ideas, workflows, and production timelines.
  • Maintain and inventory camera, audio, and lighting equipment, and consult on new gear and software to improve content quality and workflow efficiency.
  • Provide on-set guidance to on-camera talent (audio, IFB, positioning, and timing) and support adherence to company media guidelines.
  • Organize and manage media assets on shared drives and CMS platforms, respond to content requests, and upload outsourced content for company-wide use.
  • Provide real-time technical support during productions, troubleshoot issues quickly, and escalate as needed to ensure uninterrupted delivery.
  • Maintain full-time on-site attendance.
