Times Opinion is hiring a senior video journalist with a specialization in cinematography to film Opinion shows. This is a production heavy position that will be responsible for shooting, lighting and managing the technical aspects of filming at our headquarters in New York City and remote locations. You have a refined understanding of lighting techniques in multi-camera environments with a meticulous attention to detail. You will have an in-depth knowledge of camera systems and sensor science. In post-production, you will assist the team in media management, ingesting and color management.. While your primary job is shooting, you also have strong knowledge of Adobe or DaVinci Resolve workflows. You'll work day-to-day under the Director of Opinion Video to ensure flawless and consistent productions. This is a hybrid position based in New York City and includes regular attendance in the office each week per your departmental guidance.
