This specific role is for a Senior Vice President, Product Owner within the Fund & Investor Services (FIS) Platform – Reference Data Gateway (RDG) team, located in Pittsburgh, PA or Lake Mary, FL. The position involves owning the product vision, strategy, and delivery for the Reference Data Gateway, focusing on improving data quality, increasing automation, and reducing operational risk.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Proven experience operating at Director/SVP level as a Product Owner, Product Lead or equivalent in a complex, regulated organization.
- Strong understanding of reference data and gateway‑style platforms that support instruction capture, validation and downstream processing.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders, set clear direction and drive delivery across multiple teams and dependencies.
- Experience leading and mentoring senior product or change professionals, with accountability for outcomes and delivery quality.
Responsibilities
- Own the end‑to‑end product vision, strategy and delivery for the Reference Data Gateway, supporting multiple instruction capture and downstream platforms.
- Drive scalable, sustainable RDG capabilities that improve data quality, increase automation, and reduce manual processing and operational risk.
- Partner closely with Operations, Technology and Data leaders to align RDG priorities to platform strategy, regulatory expectations and client outcomes.
- Translate complex operational, data and control requirements into clear product roadmaps, priorities and investment decisions.
- Act as a key coordination point across dependent PODs and platforms, ensuring RDG solutions are reusable, well‑governed and fit for scale.
