As we continue to grow across multiple markets, we are seeking a strategic, hands-on Senior Vice President of Operations (Home Health) to lead and scale our Home Health service line. The Senior Vice President of Operations (SVP of Operations – Home Health) is responsible for the overall operational performance, quality outcomes, financial results, and strategic growth of the Home Health business across all markets. This executive leader partners closely with clinical, financial, compliance, and growth teams to ensure regulatory compliance, strong census and admissions performance, and a culture of accountability, clinical excellence, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Home Health operations
  • Proven multi-site Home Health leadership experience
  • Deep knowledge of Home Health regulations, Medicare reimbursement, PDGM, OASIS, and compliance requirements
  • Demonstrated success driving growth, operational performance, and quality outcomes

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree (MBA, MHA, MSN, or related field) strongly preferred
  • Multi-state or regional Home Health operational leadership experience
  • Experience scaling operations, supporting acquisitions, or leading through high-growth environments
  • Strong P&L ownership and financial management experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive oversight of Home Health operations across all locations and states
  • Drive operational efficiency, margin improvement, productivity, and admissions growth
  • Develop, manage, and monitor operating budgets, financial performance, KPIs, and dashboards
  • Ensure consistent execution of company policies, procedures, and operating standards
  • Oversee labor utilization, visit productivity, cost controls, and branch-level performance
  • Partner with clinical leadership to ensure high-quality patient care and regulatory excellence
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs), state regulations, and accreditation standards
  • Lead readiness for surveys, audits, and regulatory reviews
  • Oversee quality programs tied to OASIS accuracy, outcomes, rehospitalization rates, and patient satisfaction
  • Monitor and improve performance related to HHCAHPS and other quality measures
  • Lead, coach, and develop Executive Directors, Regional Leaders, and operational management teams
  • Build a high-performance culture emphasizing accountability, collaboration, and servant leadership
  • Support recruitment, retention, and succession planning for operational and leadership roles
  • Provide clear expectations, performance feedback, and development opportunities
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning, market expansion, and growth initiatives
  • Support de novo development, acquisitions, and integration of new Home Health locations
  • Collaborate with business development teams to align operational execution with referral growth strategies
  • Ensure scalable infrastructure and processes to support growth
  • Work closely with Finance, Clinical, Compliance, HR, IT, and Growth teams to align organizational priorities
  • Ensure strong communication and alignment between corporate leadership and field operations
  • Serve as a trusted thought partner to the CEO and executive leadership team
