About The Position

This newly created SVP of Finance role sits directly beneath the CFO, giving you full visibility into enterprise-level financial strategy across a real estate portfolio. You'll lead the accounting function, serve as the primary lender contact, and own the financial reporting that drives executive and board-level decisions. For the right candidate, this position carries a clear path to the CFO seat.

Requirements

• Extensive finance and accounting experience, ideally in real estate or corporate environments
• Strong leadership skills with demonstrated team management experience
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high standard of accountability
• Proven track record of delivering accurate, timely, and actionable financial reporting
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a strategic, evolving environment

Responsibilities

• Directly manage the Corporate Controller and Financial Analyst
• Lead month-end close processes and ensure timely, accurate completion
• Review and analyze apartment operation statements on a monthly basis
• Maintain and update operating proformas for every entity at least quarterly
• Oversee consolidated P&L and cash flow roll-ups across all entities
• Prepare quarterly meeting books and board books for executive review
• Manage all property appraisals and loan draw processes
• Serve as the primary point of contact for all lenders
• Produce ad hoc proformas, cash flow projections, and financial analyses as needed
