About The Position

Pretium Enterprise Services (PES) is seeking a strategic, execution-focused Senior Vice President of IT Operations to lead enterprise technology operations across Pretium and its portfolio of operating companies. As a key senior technology leader within a private-equity-backed shared services model, this role is responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, scalable, and cost-effective IT infrastructure, service delivery, and operational excellence that supports a diverse, multi-company environment. The SVP, IT Operations will drive the modernization, standardization, and performance of enterprise technology operations while balancing centralized governance with the unique business needs of operating companies. This leader will partner closely with executive leadership, technology teams, and business stakeholders to align IT operations strategy with organizational growth, risk management, and business continuity objectives. This role requires a hands-on executive who combines deep operational expertise with strategic vision, strong leadership capability, and experience operating in complex, multi-entity environments. Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including senior leadership roles in IT operations or infrastructure
  • Experience leading technology operations in complex, multi-entity, shared services, or private equity environments preferred
  • Deep expertise in enterprise infrastructure, cloud operations, IT service management, and operational governance
  • Proven success leading large-scale operational transformation and modernization initiatives
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence senior leadership and business stakeholders
  • Experience managing large, distributed teams and driving a high-performance culture
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the enterprise IT operations strategy across Pretium and its operating companies, ensuring alignment with overall business priorities
  • Lead the transformation of IT operations toward scalable, standardized, and service-oriented delivery models
  • Establish and drive operational governance frameworks, performance metrics, and service level standards
  • Serve as a senior advisor to executive leadership on technology risk, operational resilience, and infrastructure investments
  • Oversee enterprise infrastructure, including cloud platforms, networks, data centers, end-user computing, and enterprise systems reliability
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of technology environments supporting diverse business lines
  • Lead modernization initiatives including cloud optimization, automation, and operational tooling
  • Drive continuous improvement in system performance, uptime, and operational efficiency
  • Lead enterprise IT service management (ITSM) practices, including incident, problem, change, and release management
  • Establish and monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational dashboards to ensure service quality and accountability
  • Implement best-in-class service delivery models that enhance user experience and business productivity
  • Promote a culture of operational discipline, continuous improvement, and accountability
  • Partner closely with Information Security leadership to ensure operational alignment with security and regulatory requirements
  • Support enterprise risk management, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
  • Ensure operational processes meet compliance standards across regulated industries
  • Serve as a trusted partner to operating company leadership, balancing enterprise standards with business-specific needs
  • Lead the evolution of PES’s shared technology services model to drive efficiency and value across the portfolio
  • Communicate operational performance, risks, and strategic initiatives to executive stakeholders
  • Oversee enterprise technology vendor relationships, contracts, and service performance
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining service quality and operational reliability
  • Manage operational budgets, forecasting, and technology investment planning
