About The Position

We are seeking a dynamic and highly experienced Senior Vice President, Global Risk Assurance Practice leader to build, lead, and expand RGP's global risk and compliance practice. This executive will be responsible for defining our go-to-market strategy, driving revenue growth, developing client relationships, and delivering high-impact solutions to our clients. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise across internal audit, enterprise risk, regulatory compliance, technology and cybersecurity paired with a proven ability to sell, deliver, and scale advisory services in a client-facing consulting environment. As a key member of our global leadership team, this individual will shape RGP's market position, collaborate across service lines, and drive the next stage of growth for our Risk Assurance portfolio.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree, CPA, CIA, or related certification preferred.
  • 15+ Years of Leadership Experience: In consulting, risk management, internal audit, or assurance with extensive experience advising senior executives and Boards.
  • Proven Success Building and Leading a $50M+ Risk Advisory Practice: Demonstrated track record of growing a client-facing risk, audit, or assurance business within a professional services or consulting firm.
  • Deep Expertise Across Risk Domains: Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and Governance; Internal Audit and SOX Compliance; ESG, Cybersecurity, and Operational Risk; Regulatory and Policy Compliance; Risk and Technology Enablement (data analytics, automation, AI).
  • Business Development Acumen: Strong network of executive-level relationships and a track record of exceeding sales and revenue targets.
  • Client Relationship Management: Ability to build trust with C-suite executives, articulate complex risk concepts in business terms, and position RGP as a trusted strategic advisor.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Proven ability to inspire, develop, and lead global teams, while fostering collaboration and a culture of excellence.
  • Innovation & Thought Leadership: Passion for transforming traditional risk and assurance models through digital tools, analytics, and emerging technologies.
  • Strategic & Commercial Mindset: Experience designing service offerings, pricing models, and go-to-market strategies that drive profitable growth
  • Executive Presence and Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage clients, boards, and internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Available for travel to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Practice: Build and lead RGP's Global Risk Assurance Practice including vision, strategy, revenue growth, profitability, client satisfaction, and brand differentiation across regions.
  • Drive Growth: Develop and execute a go-to-market plan that expands our risk assurance footprint globally, with a focus on new client acquisition, account expansion, and cross-functional solution selling.
  • Deliver Client Impact: Oversee design and delivery of end-to-end risk assurance engagements, ensuring measurable outcomes and a strong client experience.
  • Shape Offerings & Market Position: Define RGP's core risk offerings across internal audit, SOX compliance, enterprise, technology, cyber, ESG, and third-party risk.
  • Develop and Strengthen Global Delivery Capability: Collaborate with RGP's global delivery teams to build, support, and enhance a world-class Global Delivery Center, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery and scalability across regions.
  • Build Talent Communities: Partner with regional and global leaders to develop, retain, and scale a community of high-performing consultants and project professionals in risk assurance.
  • Champion Thought Leadership: Represent RGP externally at industry forums, contribute to market insights, and develop a strong point of view on emerging risk trends and regulatory developments.
  • Collaborate Across Practices: Partner with colleagues across other practice areas to deliver integrated, multi-disciplinary solutions that address clients' most pressing challenges.
  • Ensure Excellence in Execution: Maintain the highest standards of client delivery, engagement profitability, and team performance across global engagements.
  • Deliver Results: Key performance metrics include revenue growth, gross margin, utilization, client satisfaction, and sales generation.
