About The Position

The Senior Vice President, Digital PMO, will be a highly experienced and strategic leader responsible for establishing, leading, and maturing the Program Management Office (PMO) within the Digital Technology organization. This role is critical in driving the successful execution of the company's digital transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment between strategic goals and project delivery, and optimizing the digital portfolio for maximum business value. The SVP, Digital PMO, will be a pivotal leader in fostering a culture of high performance, agility, and continuous improvement across all digital technology programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in a management or leadership role within a Program Management Office, with a focus on digital technology and transformation.
  • Extensive experience defining, implementing, and managing an enterprise-level portfolio management process, including governance, demand management, and value-based prioritization.
  • Deep working knowledge and significant experience with Agile/Scrum/SAFe and Waterfall methodologies in addition to modern product development lifecycle management.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop large, geographically dispersed teams and foster a strong culture of collaboration and accountability.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence C-level executives and bridge the gap between technical teams and business units.
  • Prior experience leading enterprise-wide implementations involving implementation partners

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree (MBA) or relevant professional certifications (e.g., PgMP, PMP, SAFe) is highly desirable.
  • Financial Services and if possible, mortgage industry experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of program and project managers, providing clear direction, career development, and fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 10 years of progressive management experience in leading large-scale programs and teams within a technology or digital-focused environment.
  • Drive and exemplify servant leadership, empowering teams to take ownership and succeed in an Agile framework.
  • Serve as a key member of the Digital Technology leadership team, contributing to overall strategy, planning, and operational excellence.
  • Establish and govern the Digital Technology portfolio management framework, including intake, prioritization, resource allocation, and tracking to ensure strategic objectives are met.
  • Oversee the execution of the entire digital portfolio, ensuring programs and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality and scope.
  • Develop and manage the annual PMO budget, ensuring effective use of resources across the portfolio.
  • Implement and continuously improve PMO methodologies, standards, and tools to enhance project delivery effectiveness.
  • Lead the organization through significant digital and business transformations, ensuring change is managed effectively across technology and business stakeholders.
  • Champion and drive the adoption of Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and best practices across all digital programs.
  • Ensure consistency and alignment in Agile practices, metrics, and reporting across all digital technology teams.
  • Measure and report on the value delivery and business outcomes of the digital technology investment portfolio.
