We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Client Processing Manager - Loans Enablement to join our Loans Enablement Operations team. This role is located in Houston, TX. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Manages a medium to large-sized team or multiple small Client Processing teams. This role is pivotal in supporting BNY's strategic pillars of client-centricity and operational efficiency by managing complex client processing tasks with precision and expertise. The incumbent will exemplify BNY's principles by fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation, thereby enhancing client trust and satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 7-10 years of total work experience is preferred with at least 1-3 years in management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to manage complex transaction processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in transaction processing systems and a keen ability to leverage technology for process improvements.
  • Experience in brokerage processing preferred.
  • Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business.
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to self-manage, prioritize, and execute workload
  • Familiarity with technical applications to include, but not limited to, Microsoft Office applications

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
  • Prior hands-on syndicated loan experience, familiarity with loans servicing, ClearPar, and LSTA preferred
  • Prior loan operations experience in a financial service setting preferred

Responsibilities

  • Handles any/all aspects of client accounts, including solicitation, inquiries, transactional processing and problem resolution.
  • Manages Client Processing activities through other managers or a large team of senior professionals.
  • Serves as a top level of support for external clients who were not able to have problems resolved at a lower level.
  • Ensures the volume of work produced meets product/service standards and exceeds quality standards and is properly reviewed and documented.
  • Identifies and implements process improvements to improve the experience for all stakeholders
  • Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team.
  • Provides input into departmental budgets and planning.
  • May develop business plans for team/group operations.
  • Manages one or more Client Processing teams.
  • Contributes to the achievement of team objectives.
