Requirements

  • Creative thinker, problem solver and natural team leader
  • 10–12+ years of experience, including work in beauty and other regulated industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, or related field
  • Experience developing business strategies and corresponding programming
  • Experience working on integrated communication programs, as well as branded and unbranded campaigns with media and third-party partnerships
  • Strong understanding of the relationship between traditional public relations and the use of current online/digital technology and social media
  • Experience in managing talented junior staff and relationship-building
  • Strong digital and social media acumen
  • Strong budgeting and financial management skills
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communications skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Must have the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • Can anticipate client and team needs with attention to detail and quality

Responsibilities

  • Oversee 3MM+ accounts that support integrated agency model
  • Adept at identifying and securing organic growth opportunities that go beyond earned and incorporate digital, creative and research, analytics and measurement workstreams
  • Regularly participate in agency promotional and thought leadership efforts
  • Responsible for the management of client and interagency relationships, as well as all aspects of a client relationship and account teams.
  • Expert at assessing the client’s business objectives and developing a strategy and programming that accomplishes these objectives and goals with measurable results
  • Responsible for the performance of select accounts, and execution of integrated client programming and planning across all facets, including earned media, digital programming, influencer relations, research, analytics and measurement.
  • Lead integrated account teams in ideation and execution of best-in-class programming.
  • Cultivate professional relationships with clients, colleagues, internal specialists, stakeholders, media, and agency partners.
  • Possess strong project management and financial stewardship skills to lead integrated teams in flawless execution
  • Serve as a strategic counsel both internally and externally
  • Experience working with highly-matrixed organizations and within complex interagency models
  • Mine for new business leads and serve as the captain of new business proposals and RFP responses with oversight from ILT.
  • Support practice leads and senior management with the operations of the agency
  • Motivate, coach, and provide feedback to junior staff; identify training and development needs.
  • Develop and deliver thought leadership and creative solutions.
  • Promote continual creative improvement and actively contribute to a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability.
  • Extremely comfortable mentoring at all levels, directly managing a team of 20+ across accounts, while continuing to grow the team.
