We're seeking a future team member for the role of SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT to join our DATA & ANALYTICS team. This role is located in BOSTON, MA. Position Summary: Develops the strategic plan for growing existing client relationships, with a focus on revenue retention and growth and client referenceability. Serves in a consultative role to clients' senior leadership on how Data & Analytics products and services (software and content covering data management, accounting, performance measurement) align to tactical and strategic goals. Assigned moderate to large emerging client accounts. As the subject matter expert for BNY's data and analytics capabilities, works with colleagues across BNY on joint account plans for strategic clients.

Requirements

  • 7 - 10 years in Relationship Management, Sales, Client Service, or Account Management in Financial Services industry with focus on investment managers and fund companies
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required
  • Has developed significant expertise on industry trends, competitor services/offerings and client's business environment.

  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develops the strategic plan for managing and growing existing client relationships, with a focus on revenue retention and incremental account growth.
  • Conduct frequent and regular check-ins with assigned clients, ensuring their continued satisfaction and strategic alignment with firm services/product offerings.
  • Work with clients to ensure awareness of product enhancements, new capabilities and maintaining regular adoption of the latest releases.
  • Act as internal/external escalation point for portfolio of clients leveraging Data and Analytics solutions.
  • Assess risk levels for assigned clients and develop action plans for client retention.
  • Develop, track and report on relationship strategy/results for assigned client portfolio and contribute to the development of team/unit metrics, dashboards and roadmaps.
  • Work closely with business development teams to ensure relationship management strategy is executed by account management and client service teams.
  • Evaluate and structure deal (pricing, contract terms, etc.) to determine the optimal terms for both the client and the firm.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to remain visible in the market and remain current on industry trends and competitor services/offerings.
