We are seeking a Senior UX Developer who excels in both user experience design and front-end development. This role is ideal for someone who can conceptualize world‑class user interfaces and bring them to life through clean, scalable, and maintainable code. You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and business stakeholders to design intuitive, user‑centered experiences and implement them using modern UI technologies. You will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field
  • 8+ years of combined UX design and front‑end development experience
  • 6+ years of experience working in Agile development environments
  • 5+ years of experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
  • 3+ years of experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern UI framework (React preferred)
  • Advanced level of understanding of usability principles and UX research methods
  • Intermediate level of experience building responsive, component‑based UIs and reusable design systems

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with prototyping and usability testing tools
  • Familiarity with backend integration (REST APIs, GraphQL)
  • Experience with performance monitoring, analytics, and A/B testing
  • Experience contributing to or maintaining design systems at scale
  • Familiarity with CI/CD practices
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA)

Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to-end UX design—research, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity UI
  • Translate complex workflows into intuitive, elegant, and accessible designs
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure design consistency and feasibility
  • Create and maintain design systems, reusable components, and interaction patterns
  • Develop responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)
  • Translate Figma/wireframes into pixel‑perfect UI components following best practices
  • Implement predictable state management and modular, scalable front-end architecture
  • Perform UI performance optimizations and ensure cross‑browser compatibility
  • Write unit and component tests to ensure reliability and reduce regressions
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to define user needs and product goals
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of UX and engineering standards
  • Mentor junior designers and developers on best practices in UX and front‑end development
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI
  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate tasks, and drive continuous improvement
  • Evaluate emerging trends to inform solution design and strategic innovation
