As a Senior UX Designer within our global UX/UI team, you will play a key role in shaping intuitive, accessible, and impactful user experiences across our clinical technology platforms. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in UX Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience
  • 4–6 years of experience designing UX/UI for web, mobile, or software applications
  • Experience working in a clinical, regulated, or similar industry environment
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end UX/UI design expertise across research, interaction design, and usability evaluation
  • Deep understanding of usability principles, user-centered design methodologies, and information architecture best practices
  • Experience planning and conducting user research and translating findings into design improvements
  • Proficiency in working within Agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Working knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and support team members in a matrixed, global environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

Responsibilities

  • Lead and plan user research activities to identify user behaviors, needs, motivations, and accessibility requirements across diverse user groups
  • Design and optimize end-to-end user experiences, including digital and offline interactions, ensuring alignment with both user and organizational needs
  • Develop wireframes, visual designs, interaction models, workflows, and annotated prototypes to clearly communicate design intent
  • Conduct structured and ad-hoc usability testing, synthesizing qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Iterate on designs using user-centered evaluation methods, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and continuously improving usability and accessibility
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and implementation teams to ensure design solutions are effectively translated into delivered products
  • Define, establish, and maintain UX and UI design standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency across products and platforms
  • Analyze user characteristics, tasks, and operating environments to inform design decisions and identify opportunities for innovation and improved engagement
