About The Position
Internal Transfer Opportunity: Senior UX Designer TSS Internal job opportunities are only for TSS employees, please do not forward this email to other County departments We are currently recruiting for a full-time Senior User Experience (UX) Designer opportunity within Technology Services and Solutions (TSS), supporting the Architecture, Innovation, and Mode2 Solution Development (AIM2) team. The Senior UX Designer will lead the design of inclusive, accessible, and user-centered digital services that improve the experience of County residents and staff. This role is ideal for a systems thinker with expertise in design thinking methodology, who thrives in cross-functional environments and is passionate about public service experiences and innovation.

Responsibilities
- Facilitate collaboration between Product Owners, Developers, and fellow UX professionals to streamline workflows and deliver cohesive digital experiences.
- Lead governance of a County-wide Design standards to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability across digital platforms.
- Establish and maintain a practice of iterative user testing, incorporating public feedback to guide design decisions and improve usability.
- Partner with organizations such as the U.S. Digital Response (USDR) to conduct research and deliver actionable insights—e.g., improving the resident experience for accessing vital records from the Clerk Recorder’s Office.
- Represent the County in national forums such as the Digital Service Network’s UX Research Community of Practice (UX CoP), sharing best practices and learning from peers across government.
