Requirements

• Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 4+ years experience working in product or service design OR Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 5+ years experience working in product or service design OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems).
• 4+ years of experience in UX design, with at least 2 years focused on conversational interfaces or voice UX.

Nice To Haves

• Solid portfolio demonstrating multimodal interaction design (e.g., voice + screen, vision + voice) and deep understanding of speech UX constraints, LLM behavior, and prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in Figma, prototyping tools, and usability testing methods.
• Experience working on Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar AI assistants.
• Background in linguistics, cognitive science, or human-computer interaction (HCI).
• Experience designing for low-latency, real-time voice interactions.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end conversational experiences across voice in/out, screen + voice, and vision + voice modalities on Windows, Web, Mobile and across multiple app experiences.
• Collaborate with LLM service teams to shape prompt strategies, output formatting, and fallback behaviors.
• Prototype and test multimodal interactions that balance clarity, efficiency, and delight.
• Define interaction models for turn-taking, interruptibility, and contextual grounding in voice-first and hybrid experiences.
• Partner with researchers, PMs, scientists, and engineers to validate designs and iterate based on user feedback and telemetry.
• Contribute to design systems and frameworks that scale across products and platforms.
