While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site, the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid driver's license is essential for this role. The Key Account Consultant - Epilepsy is responsible for driving growth within priority clinical centers by partnering closely with epileptologists and multidisciplinary care teams. This individual will serve as a clinical and strategic resource to support the adoption of on-label applications, increase patient funnel development, and enhance clinical throughput. This individual is seen as an epilepsy clinical and technical leader in their field. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. Grow DBS volume and manage key accounts by building strong, collaborative relationships with epileptologists, neurologists, and epilepsy program leadership Transfer clinical knowledge to providers and staff, ensuring deep understanding of product capabilities, on-label use cases, and best-practice workflows Develop and expand the patient funnel by supporting referral pathways, identifying eligible patients, and enabling efficient clinic processes Optimize clinical throughput through education, workflow refinement, and coordination with internal teams to reduce barriers in the patient journey Partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and medical education to support successful adoption and sustained utilization of therapy Serve as a clinical expert during demonstrations, case reviews, and provider education sessions Track performance metrics and deliver insights to inform strategy and account development plans Maintains up to date knowledge of competitive products and environment Provide on-site clinical expertise during epilepsy therapy procedures, including device programming, intraoperative support, and post-implant follow-up for brain modulation and deep brain stimulation technologies Educate and train healthcare professionals, including epileptologists, neurosurgeons, nurses, and hcp’s on safe and effective therapy use Deliver ongoing education, mentorship, and skill development for field-based sales and clinical team members, ensuring consistent messaging, procedural excellence, and a high level of therapy proficiency across the US Drive therapy awareness and adoption by engaging with epilepsy centers, coordinating patient-candidate identification efforts, and supporting strategic initiatives that expand clinician familiarity with Medtronic epilepsy solutions Drive patient awareness of Medtronic epilepsy therapy options through education and outreach
