The Senior Underwriting Consultant plays a critical role in managing advanced financial analysis and underwriting for large group commercial customers, supporting both Fully Insured and SelfâInsured business, with SelfâInsured products representing a key component of the role. In this position, you will apply advanced underwriting risk assessment and pricing expertise to develop sound pricing decisions, evaluate complex risks, and project future costs for both new business and renewal accounts. This role partners closely with Medica Sales to provide clear pricing rationale and to help craft renewal and sales strategies that balance customer objectives with Medica’s longâterm financial goals. The Senior Underwriting Consultant is expected to exercise independent judgment, influence outcomes, and serve as a trusted underwriting resource in a competitive market.
