Job Description Job Title Senior UI Developer The Purpose of This Role As part of the Green Meadows program within the Fidelity Center for Applied Technologies (FCAT), the candidate will be part of a team which is focused on building a modern brokerage platform from scratch. FCAT is embarking upon a unique journey which typically happens only once every 20-30 years within an organization to build a new Brokerage platform from the ground up. This new platform will be completely on the cloud and will provide various new additional & improved features to the end customer. The Value You Deliver The ideal candidate will play the role of a Senior Developer for the squad that builds the web applications for Operations users and end customers. The candidate is expected to design and develop features, manage code reviews & deployments, and coordinate with various stakeholders for development. The candidate will have an opportunity to work in fast paced core-brokerage financial industry domain along with an opportunity to learn new functionality and technology. The Skills that are Key to this role Required Technical skills Experience developing and maintaining applications written using modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, Vue, React JS), Angular experience is preferred A solid, practical understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript Proficiency using HTML and CSS, including an understanding of accessibility needs and cross-browser compatibility Experience working with Git/Version control Ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups, both in person and virtually, in a constructive and collaborative manner Ability to apply a long-term mentality to help produce scalable, maintainable solutions Experience developing user interfaces based on wireframes, visual designs and UX specifications Commitment to quality and high standards Be excited about collaborating and communicating closely with teams and other stakeholders The desire to learn and grow. The base salary range for this position is $97,000-185,000 USD per year. Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors. Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
