Responsibilities

• Handles design of both on campus engagements and off-campus trips ranging from ½ day to week-long expeditions.
• Handles the physical and emotional well-being of trip participants for days at a time in often remote locations, as well as the instruction on the utilization of specialized equipment as it pertains to specific disciplines of trips.
• Teaches the fundamentals of interacting with the outdoor world to patrons in the field.
• Provides transportation via university vehicles, including vans and trucks as well as trailering trip-specific equipment.
• Serves as mentor/supervisor role for Trip Leader field staff on/off campus.
