The Senior Logistics Analyst is responsible for the North America Logistics Leadership team with decision support and insights via the analysis of robust data sets and the application of advanced software tools. The focus of this role is to turn data into actionable information that will help improve our business through cost reduction and/or service improvement. The individual will be a key contributor in freight savings initiatives through data analytics, support to decisions and carrier negotiations. This role will have key interactions with the logistics and distribution leadership across the worldwide organization, carriers, suppliers and customers. This position reports to the Value Stream Manager- Logistics and is part of the Transportation/Carrier Management team located in Hebron, KY and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Collect, validate, and analyze data to establish and maintain foundational transportation KPI’s Drive continuous improvement by identifying ways to streamline processes and reduce waste Assist in developing and implementing savings through process improvement programs with carriers, suppliers, or other transportation related providers Proactively communicate and advise on trends, changes in the transportation industry, or other logistics related factors that may impact the transportation of product Utilize DBS [Danaher Business Systems] by applying Daily Management and Problem Solving to everyday work
