GFT is seeking a Senior Transit Project Manager to support a variety of projects in the West Region. This role follows a remote work model. What you'll be challenged to do: The ideal candidate will have experience as a Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager for FTA/FRA funded projects involving Bus Facilities, Bus Rapid Transit, Light Rail, Heavy Rail Rapid Transit, or Commuter Rail. PE Registration required. A bachelor’s degree is required, masters preferred, and progressive positions with major transportation agencies or consultants expected. The position is responsible for coordinating and reviewing the work of engineers and planners working in diverse disciplines to design and plan major transportation infrastructure. The position requires good verbal and writing skills and ability to successfully interact with clients and federal agency oversight. Work includes corridor infrastructure design projects, project management, project scheduling. Some travel necessary.
