Summary The Senior Trainer provides continuous improvement of trainee skills and acumen as it pertains to theirspecific program and client needs. Our Senior Trainer must be able to speak in front of a crowd, developtraining materials for both internal and external teams, and collaborate closely with business leaders to assessemployees’ increased performance improvement. This role equips trainees with the requisite knowledge,skills, techniques, and motivation to perform at the highest level.

  • Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to tackle complex issues and develop innovative and practical solutions
  • Action and detail oriented; able to prioritize while handling multiple tasks
  • Quick and strong decision-making skills in fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent presentation skills and articulate presenter
  • Ability to proof-read and edit content
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree
  • 3+ years’ experience in similar role
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • 75% travel; 2-3 weeks per month

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of advanced soft skills, leadership, sales, and interpersonal development programsfor designated trainees, fostering a culture of excellence and professional growth
  • Establish and nurture productive relationships with program and client management, serving as atrusted advisor to align training initiatives with organizational goals
  • Strategically collaborate with subject matter experts to design and tailor high-impact traininginitiatives that address evolving business needs
  • Provide expert guidance and subject matter expertise to support the design and optimization oftraining systems and processes
  • Develop and implement client-focused training curriculums, integrating program objectives tosupport management in business development
  • Customize training activities and materials, continuously refining curriculum to meet the uniquerequirements of each program and maximize effectiveness
  • Develop and incorporate innovative activities into facilitator-led learning experiences, ensuringengagement and practical application for participants
  • Drive continuous improvement of trainee competencies and performance by implementing robusttraining methodologies from program inception through ongoing enhancement cycles
  • Conduct comprehensive job analysis, performance appraisals, and regular consultations with businessleaders to identify and prioritize critical program skills and acumen
  • Design and execute comprehensive new hire training schedules that are position-specific andencompass all facets of the program’s operational procedures and product portfolio
  • Maintain and manage a forward-looking training calendar, ensuring timely instruction on key topicssuch as New Product Introduction, Product Familiarity, Sales Skills, Process, One-on-One Coaching,Vendor Relations, Open Discussions, and Product Q&A
  • Lead biannual skills assessments to evaluate training effectiveness, identify gaps, and developtargeted strategies for continuous improvement
  • Leverage multi-media tools and technologies to enhance training delivery for ongoing traineedevelopment
  • Utilize new product introductions as strategic platforms to elevate program visibility and engagementwithin client organizations
