Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 3-5+ year experience as a heavy-duty truck or trailer mechanic.
• Must have knowledge regarding the safe handling and operation of trailers.
• Must present a professional, highly motivated, positive, result oriented, problem-solving attitude.
• Must have good communication skills.
• Must be able to work independently in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Must have own hand tools. Some tools provided if enrolled in Apprentice program.
• Must adhere to all Company policies including safety policies and regulations.
• Must pass standard pre-employment drug test and physical.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with fabrication, suspensions, air brakes, electrical systems, liftgates, body repair and welding is a plus but willing to train.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of trailer repairs. Including preventive maintenance, installations, replacements, and diagnostic tasks for various makes and models of semi-trailers and related equipment in an efficient, timely, accurate, professional, and safe manner in accordance with all Company policies, DOT, OSHA and other governmental standards and regulations.
