  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of hands‑on test engineering experience in electronics/hardware
  • Strong experience with test equipment: oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, data acquisition systems
  • Experience in automation / scripting (LabVIEW, Python, C/C++, etc.)
  • Deep understanding of test methods (functional test, boundary scan, BIST, burn‑in, stress test)
  • Experience designing test fixtures, Jigs, custom test hardware
  • Root cause analysis and failure diagnosis skills
  • Excellent communication skills to interface with design, manufacturing, quality, and management
  • Ability to lead and mentor less experienced engineers and technicians
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple test projects concurrently
  • Project management and accountability

Nice To Haves

  • Personnel management/supervisory skills a plus.
  • Experience with DFT / DFM methodologies
  • Experience with FPGA, embedded systems, or microcontrollers
  • Experience in reliability / life‑test programs
  • Familiarity with database systems (e.g. SQL) or test data management systems
  • Knowledge of communications protocols (SPI, I²C, UART, Ethernet, CAN, etc.)
  • Experience with production test (high throughput, board test, ICT, flying probe, AOI)
  • Experience with regulatory compliance (EMC, safety testing, certifications)

Responsibilities

  • Define, design, and implement test plans, test cases, and test procedures for components, PCBs, subsystems, and full systems
  • Develop and maintain automated test frameworks (e.g., LabVIEW, Python, C/C++, or other relevant languages)
  • Design, build, and manage test fixtures, hardware test stations, and instrumentation setups
  • Perform functional, system, environmental, stress, reliability, failure analysis, and boundary testing
  • Analyze test data, prepare reports, and communicate findings to design, reliability, manufacturing, and quality teams
  • Troubleshoot failures, isolate root causes, propose corrective actions, and track issues
  • Collaborate closely with customers, engineers and technicians to improve testability (Design for Test, DFT)
  • Lead test readiness reviews, qualification campaigns, and test validation phases
  • Mentor and guide junior or mid‑level test engineers and technicians
  • Drive improvements in test coverage, throughput, reliability, and maintainability
  • Ensure compliance with industry / regulatory standards (e.g. safety standards, IPC , ISO customer specifications)
  • Manage and coordinate resources, projects, schedules, and budgets related to test engineering
