About The Position

Collins Aerospace is currently in search of an Electrical Engineer to support all aspects of technical performance across multiple depot and production programs at the Largo Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC). This role is primarily in support of the Air Traffic Navigation, Integration and Coordination System (ATNAVICS) program. What You Will Do​ This role will report to the Largo Test Engineering Manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience required.
  • Requires a degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience working in a lab or manufacturing environment with standard EE lab/production equipment (i.e., Vector Network Analyzers, Noise Figure Meters, Power Meters, Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, DMMs, Signal Sources, etc.), developing and delivering presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders, and working with & troubleshooting complex RF Subsystems.
  • Knowledge of digital logic circuits to include: microprocessors, programmable logic devices, memories, digital interfaces & protocols, etc.
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.

  • The ability to work with production equipment at a hands-on capacity.
  • Ability to apply basic principles, theories, and concepts within the electrical engineering fields and general knowledge of other related disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Integration and testing of RF/Analog/Digital components and modules.
  • Transition and integration of Special Test Equipment (STE).
  • Working as part of a team to analyze Hardware and Software Test requirements and specifications to determine Hardware and Software requirements.
  • Develop solutions to test issues and develop productivity & efficiency enhancements.
  • Interact with Test Technicians, Factory Facilitators, Operations Managers, other Engineers, Quality Assurance and Reliability personnel.
  • Oversight of test equipment used for production purposes.
  • Troubleshooting advanced RF subsystems.
  • Travel and off-shift work during test events.
  • Analyzing real time radar track data.
  • Generating flight test reports.
