Who You Are We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is a crucial, senior-level role for an individual who is passionate about quality and dedicated to building robust, scalable automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise across both frontend and backend testing, with a proven track record of implementing comprehensive test strategies.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of direct, hands-on experience focused specifically on test automation tool development and deployment in a professional environment.
• A genuine passion for test automation, quality assurance, and building resilient software. This role requires an individual who sees test automation as a core development function.
• Proven ability to work autonomously, take ownership of testing strategy, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Frontend Test Automation: Extensive experience designing and implementing robust tests for modern web applications using React/TypeScript.
• Demonstrated proficiency with modern frontend testing frameworks like Cypress and/or Playwright.
• Experience testing applications built with React or similar modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Backend & API Testing: Strong background in integration and end-to-end testing of backend Python services.
• Expertise in testing REST APIs using automated tools.
• Programming & Scripting: Deep proficiency in Python for developing and maintaining test scripts and frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Python testing frameworks, including pytest.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Voice AI testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Hamming).
• Familiarity with performance, load, or security testing.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, comprehensive test automation frameworks for both frontend and backend systems.
• Implement and execute automated tests using industry-leading tools and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to define test plans, strategies, and environments.
• Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipeline to ensure continuous quality assurance in our regression testing process.
• Identify, document, and track defects, working with engineers to ensure timely resolution.
• Mentor team members on automation best practices and tooling.
• Drive continuous improvement in our testing processes and coverage.
