About the Role The Senior, Technology Operations - Content Standards, will be responsible for driving the day-to-day execution of Walmart's standards revamp program and continuing to manage its success after rollout. Reporting into the Content Quality leadership team, you'll ensure program plans are comprehensive, timelines are met, and stakeholders are aligned. This is a hands-on execution role that begins with building and delivering a successful launch plan, and then transitions into ongoing ownership of standards operations - including updates, escalations, exception handling, and training. Success in this role means ensuring the program continues to run smoothly long after implementation, with every stakeholder supported and every change managed effectively. In this role, you'll: Develop and manage detailed rollout and execution plans, ensuring every dependency and stakeholder is covered. Track timelines, deliverables, and risks to keep projects on schedule. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and suppliers/sellers to ensure smooth execution. Handle exceptions, escalations, and operational noise, driving resolution and clarity. Lead post-launch program management, including standards updates, specification changes, and continuous improvements. Facilitate training and communication to drive adoption and ongoing compliance across teams, suppliers, and sellers. Requirements

  • You've managed multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously and know how to keep things on track.
  • You're skilled at coordinating with cross-functional partners and ensuring follow-through.
  • You're customer and associate obsessed, always considering the impact to shoppers, associates, and suppliers/sellers.
  • You're detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing a high volume of moving parts.
  • You thrive on execution - getting things done, on time, and with precision.
  • You have experience managing operational programs or large-scale projects with many stakeholders.
  • You've supported supplier- or seller-facing initiatives and resolved exceptions or escalations.
  • You've built or delivered training programs to drive adoption of new processes.
  • You've managed steady-state programs, ensuring updates, enhancements, and escalations were handled effectively.
  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, industrial engineering, engineering management, business, information systems, project/program management, information technology, finance, management, or related area and 3 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.
  • Option 2: 5 years' experience in project management, program management, program operations, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Driving program updates, specification changes, and ongoing enhancements after launch.
  • Serving as the point of contact for escalations and exceptions, driving quick resolution.
  • Handling program "noise" so leadership can focus on strategic priorities.
  • Proactively monitoring for risks or gaps and addressing them before they escalate.
  • Delivering training and communication plans for suppliers, sellers, and internal teams.
  • Engaging stakeholders to ensure alignment and accountability through the life of the program.
  • Reporting progress against KPIs to leadership and recommending improvements for long-term sustainability.
