As a Senior Technical Sourcing Management, you will be responsible for overseeing and enhancing the procurement of products and services, ensuring cost-efficiency, quality, and adherence to industry standards to support organizational goals. Provides essential support to AT&T’s Global Carrier Management (GCM) for voice services, encompassing both domestic and international operations. Identifies and implements innovative technologies and automation opportunities to streamline organizational operations and improve overall efficiency. An experienced professional with advanced, interdisciplinary knowledge, leading and managing the technical sourcing process by developing strategies for emerging technologies, negotiating contracts, and supporting cross-functional technical programs to advance organizational objectives. Operate autonomously with frequent interaction with senior leadership. Guide others and resolve complex issues using advanced, interdisciplinary professional concepts. moderate sized projects (or parts of larger projects) with strategic value. Lead and influence projects with strategic organizational impact.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ related experience.
  • Certification is required in some areas.
  • Proficiency in M Language, Power Automate, and Dataflows for data analysis and automation.
  • Strong skills in Power BI for creating dynamic dashboards and interactive visualizations.
  • Microsoft SharePoint Online sites and lists
  • Proficiency in SQL for data querying, transformation, and optimization
  • Hands-on experience in data processing and workflow automation

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Sourcing Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive sourcing strategies for emerging technologies, including cloud, AI/ML, IoT, and automation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, cost-effectiveness, and quality standards.
  • Negotiate and Manage Contracts: Lead contract negotiations and manage supplier agreements to ensure favorable terms, cost-effectiveness, and mitigating risks.
  • Operational Optimization: Drive continuous improvement initiatives and transformation projects—leveraging analytics and automation to increase organizational efficiency.
  • Supplier Relationships Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, monitor performance against KPIs, and ensure compliance with security controls and contractual obligations.
  • Performance & Risk Management: Track key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements for both internal and external partners.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with BU stakeholders and cross-functional teams to align sourcing strategies with technology needs, provide cost analysis support, and facilitate technology adoption. Collaborate closely with multiple departments, including Network Engineering, Product, and Finance teams. Manage GCM Development Project budget.
  • Optimize Costs and Manage Risks: Identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize procurement costs, and manage risks associated with technology sourcing to ensure compliance and mitigate potential issues.
