About The Position

We’re seeking an experienced and driven senior technical recruiter to lead talent acquisition and recruiting across the organization. This role will report to the Head of People Operations and requires strategic thinking, strong attention to detail, high technical aptitude and creativity, and a strong social battery. This team member will juggle multiple high-priority requests while interfacing professionally with internal stakeholders and candidates externally. Your primary mission is to source and hire for technical and non-technical requisitions that we have open at any given time. You will own initiating the hiring process, outbound candidate sourcing, inbound candidate management, scheduling, candidate communications, phone screens, and hiring manager and team collaboration. You’ll be responsible for creating and maintaining a data-driven exceptional candidate and new hire experience, to foster the Trail of Bits brand in the industry. The ideal candidate possesses a ‘no task too small, no task too big’ attitude, is naturally empathetic, and proactively owns and solves problems.

Requirements

  • Based in the United States.
  • 5-7 years of technical recruiting experience.
  • Experience hiring cybersecurity engineers, in the areas of Engineering, Cryptography, Blockchain, Security and Application Security required.
  • Thorough understanding of technology (including AI/Claude Code), technical roles, and technical skills.
  • Experience independently leading a full-cycle recruitment process.
  • Social media, ATS experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity consulting is preferred.

  • Pipeline Development: Build a robust candidate pipeline through strategic sourcing that identifies, qualifies, and engages passive candidates across multiple channels.
  • Candidate Experience: Deliver an exceptional candidate experience that builds goodwill and strengthens the company's market reputation, regardless of hiring outcome.
  • Employer Branding: Establish Trail of Bits as an employer of choice through strategic talent branding initiatives across industry platforms and communities.
  • Candidate Management: Shepherd candidates from initial contact through successful hire, maintaining momentum and engagement throughout the process.
  • Hiring Influence: Support critical hiring decisions by evaluating candidates against role and behavioral requirements and identifying the best cultural and skill fits.
  • Internal Collaboration: Foster seamless collaboration across teams to align on hiring needs, source requirements, negotiation, and successful placement.
  • Skills Assessments: Orchestrate an efficient interview and assessment process that respects candidates' time, while providing Trail of Bits with the necessary information to confirm fit and technical breadth.
