ITility is currently seeking a Sr. Technical Recruiter. In this position, you will interface with ITility’s Business Leaders to understand recruiting needs and drive strategic sourcing and recruitment of technical and professional services. This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week onsite in Chantilly, VA at ITility HQ.   ITility is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business with a passion to equip our nation’s armed forces and first responders with the very best to empower their missions. Requirements

  • US Citizenshiprequired
  • 6–8 years of technical recruiting experience, within defense contracting or government services.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions (15+ requisitions), with competing priorities
  • Strong understanding of technical roles and skill sets – Specifically, but not limited to Software Development, Cloud Engineering, Cybersecurity and Data Engineering.
  • Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to understand technical job requirements, interpret resumes, ask meaningful screening questions, and credibly engage with technical professionals and hiring managers.
  • Knowledgeable of DoD security clearance requirements
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms (ADP Preferred)
  • Experience and knowledge leveraging Artificial Intelligence to support recruitment efforts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Advanced sourcing skills and targeted recruitment strategies, including proactive talent identification using LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS databases, niche job boards, referrals, and networking strategies—particularly for clearance‑eligible talent.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end‑to‑end recruiting for technical roles including: Software Engineering Systems Engineering Cybersecurity Cloud / DevSecOps Network Engineering AI/ML and Data Scientists/Engineers UI/UX Developers Data Solution Architects
  • Develop and execute recruiting strategies for cleared and non‑cleared positions
  • Conduct intake meetings to understand technical requirements, clearance needs, and program priorities
  • Screen, interview, and assess candidates for technical and cultural fit
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and program leads
  • Partner with program managers, hiring managers, and the FSO/security team to understand contract requirements, clearance needs, and staffing timelines, and translate them into targeted recruiting strategies.
  • Provide regular recruiting status updates, risk assessments, and recommendations
  • Collaborate with HR, Security, and Contracts teams through onboarding and clearance processing
  • Proactively source candidates via: LinkedIn Recruiter Clearance‑focused job boards ATS databases Referrals and networking other
  • Build and maintaincleared candidate pipelines for recurring skill sets
  • Provide market insight on compensation, availability, and clearance trends
  • Support employer branding efforts including participation in targeted career fairs, IC or other focused events, and digital campaigns on talent platforms.
  • Maintain continuous outreach through daily cold calls, emails, and other messaging.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Ensure all recruiting activities comply with federal employment law (EEO, OFCCP, Title VII, Rehabilitation Act, Civil Rights Act) and customer specific security and other compliance requirements
  • Track recruiting metrics such as: Time‑to‑fill Source effectiveness Offer acceptance rates
  • Recruit candidates with active and/or eligible security clearances (Secret, TS, TS/SCI)
  • Ensure compliance with ITAR, FAR, and DFARS hiring requirements
  • Support hiring for recompetes, new contract awards, and surge hiring efforts
