About The Position

As a Senior Technical Recruiter at WHOOP, you will play a critical role in scaling high-performing technical teams, including teams such as engineering, data, and product. You’ll partner with technical leadership to shape the future of our talent pipelines, manage full-cycle recruiting for complex and specialized roles, and help build a bar-raising, mission-driven team.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical recruiting, with a strong preference for in-house experience at high-growth or startup companies
  • Proven success hiring for a range of technical functions (e.g., software engineering, data science, product management, AI)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex searches, deliver high-quality candidates, and close top talent
  • Strong sourcing abilities and comfort using a variety of platforms and tools
  • Motivated by providing a seamless and engaging experience for both candidates and hiring partners
  • Thoughtfully approaches hiring decisions with curiosity and critical thinking, helping teams uncover blind spots
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in fast-paced, evolving environments with competing priorities
  • High level of autonomy, ownership, and accountability
  • Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions

Responsibilities

  • Partner with technical leaders to identify, attract, and hire top talent across a variety of domains
  • Design and execute creative sourcing strategies for hard-to-fill and high-impact roles, leveraging outbound sourcing and passive candidate engagement
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting efforts, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience from first interaction through to close
  • Advise on best practices in candidate evaluation, interview structure, and hiring team alignment
  • Use data and insights to inform recruiting strategy and optimize performance
  • Contribute to strategic projects that improve the overall hiring process, including employer branding, recruiting tools, and operational scalability
