Job Title Senior Technical Project Manager What does a Senior Technical Project Manager do at Fiserv? You lead technical delivery for complex, cross-functional initiatives, coordinating engineering, product, architecture, security and operations to deliver secure, scalable enterprise solutions on time and within budget. You translate business goals into technical plans, define scope and success criteria with stakeholders, prioritize work, and manage risks and dependencies to ensure predictable program outcomes. You drive alignment across vendors and internal teams and provide clear program metrics and executive updates.

Requirements

  • 6+ years technical project/program management delivering enterprise software, cloud migration, or platform initiatives, including 4+ years managing Agile SDLC and 3+ years coordinating security/infrastructure/operations workstreams.
  • 3+ years using JIRA, Confluence and Microsoft Project (or similar) to produce status reports, program metrics and forecasts.
  • PMP, CSM, Agile certification or equivalent combination of education, related experience or military experience, plus a bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent).
  • Experience using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, copilots) to support delivery and collaboration.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in payments or fintech platforms and familiarity with PCI DSS and other regulatory frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with 1+ cloud platforms (for example, AWS or Microsoft Azure) and cloud migration initiatives.
  • Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code) and managing large vendor relationships / third-party integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical planning and execution for multiple concurrent projects, creating integrated schedules, milestones, and delivery plans that align to stakeholder priorities and acceptance criteria.
  • Define and maintain project scope, success and acceptance criteria, and a prioritized roadmap; manage risks, dependencies and escalations to meet commitments.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, security, cloud/ops, product) and manage vendor/third-party delivery, contracts and integration points.
  • Produce status reports, program metrics, forecasts and executive updates using project management and collaboration tools.
  • Ensure delivery of secure, scalable solutions by translating business goals into technical plans and driving resolution of technical issues.
