We offer merchants an end-to-end payments solution that provides authorization and settlement capabilities, as well as instant access to funds and payouts. We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade. Job Summary: This role supports PayPal’s Merchant Invoicing and Payment Links & Buttons (PLB) portfolios, leading programs that enable merchants to create, send, and accept payments seamlessly across different entry points. While Invoicing focuses on helping merchants manage and streamline their day-to-day workflows, PLB enables flexible checkout experiences across web, mobile, and partner surfaces. You’ll work across Product, Engineering, Design, Partnerships, and Compliance to deliver initiatives that improve merchant experience and drive adoption across both portfolios. The role involves coordinating complex, multi-workstream programs, including partner integrations, API and platform capabilities, and ongoing feature expansion. You’ll also partner with teams building AI-driven capabilities to enhance invoicing and checkout experiences, helping bring these solutions into production in a scalable and compliant way.

Requirements

• 5+ years relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven track record of managing complex programs within an engineering environment.

• Experience leading cross-functional programs across product and engineering teams
• Ability to manage complex dependencies, risks, and trade-offs across multiple workstreams
• Experience delivering data-driven or AI/ML-enabled product initiatives (e.g., automation, personalization, or decisioning systems)
• Strong understanding of Agile development practices (Scrum, SAFe, or similar)
• Experience working with platform teams such as Risk, Compliance, Identity, or Payments
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business impact and influence stakeholders
• Strong communication skills with experience engaging senior leadership
• Background in payments, fintech, or large-scale platform ecosystems preferred

• Monitor program performance and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and resolve conflicts.
• Ensure adherence to engineering standards and best practices.
