About The Position

As it relates to ServiceNow (specifically SPM and HRSD modules), this role leads multiple product teams and aligns backlog priorities with organizational strategy. The Senior Technical Product Owner defines and communicates product vision, creates roadmaps, and ensures consistent delivery of high-value features. They mentor junior product owners, drive process improvements, and foster collaboration across teams. The position partners with business leaders to anticipate needs, manage dependencies, and ensure scalability of solutions, overseeing complex initiatives and ensuring adherence to Agile best practices. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days onsite at the Fort Washington, PA location.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5 years in product ownership or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe) and product lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to define acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage.
  • Familiarity with test planning, UAT coordination, and defect management.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
  • 7 years in product ownership of ServiceNow modules, specifically SPM and HRSD, experience leading multiple teams and managing complex UAT cycles.
  • Familiarity with Agile tools and frameworks (Azure DevOps, Jira, Rally, ServiceNow; SAFe, LeSS) and strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies (including AI), API integrations, and data flow concepts.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, system dependencies, and experience with automated testing strategies and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to mentor and coach junior product owners on testing and quality assurance, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge of healthcare or enterprise systems is a plus.
  • CSM - Certified ScrumMaster - Scrum Alliance

Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize product backlog items to maximize business value.
  • Write clear user stories and refine requirements with stakeholders and development teams.
  • Oversee UAT execution across multiple teams; ensure alignment with business objectives and regulatory/compliance needs.
  • Validate that delivered features meet stakeholder expectations; negotiate trade-offs and manage change requests.
  • Continuously improve acceptance criteria quality and testing processes (e.g., automation readiness, data management).
  • Mentor junior POs on test planning, risk-based testing, and definition of done.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners (UX, Architecture, QA, Release) to ensure delivery readiness.
  • Monitor product performance, collect feedback, and inform roadmap decisions.
