About The Position

OWT Global is seeking a high-performing Senior Technical Program Manager to lead a team of engineers and scientists developing a next-generation SOF life preserver. You will work with government and industry stakeholders to develop and refine requirements, develop and execute a system engineering plan, conduct program reviews, develop test plans, and conduct developmental testing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in System Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited institution
  • 12+ years of technical experience in the defense/aerospace industry or 10+ with an MS degree
  • 5+ years’ experience managing technical programs that involve design, development, integration, and testing in the defense industry
  • Experience planning, coordinating, and implementing field system testing and demonstrations.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Minimum Top Secret Clearance w/ SCI eligibility.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer interaction and presentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience integrating TRL-9 components into a functional prototype
  • Experience providing program support in monitoring, assessing, coordinating, analyzing, and integrating component programs, including briefings/presentations for the total life of complex programs
  • Derive, develop, verify, and assign system requirements to wired and wireless communications subsystems as part of an integrated multi-component system of systems solutions
  • Experience writing Systems Level Requirements, Systems Level Plans, and Analysis (System Plans, System Modeling, FMEA, Systems Safety, Requirements Traceability, etc.)
  • Liaison with partners and subcontractors to verify specifications and interface requirements and to produce ICDs between multiple sub-systems
  • Provide technical analysis, utilize simulation and requirements management tools, and perform system trade studies and prototyping to assess system performance
  • Experience in communicating requirements and on-boarding technically competent subcontractors for prototype component low-rate production
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office-based tools
  • Experience as a technical lead and liaison with major OEM’s and Government Customers
  • Experience with System Level Test and Troubleshooting (In-house and Field)
  • Write/lead trade studies, use cases, white papers, etc.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Time management and organizational skills
  • 10+ years of experience supporting Special Operations programs
  • Strong understanding of NSW mission sets, operational tempo, and joint/combined force integration
  • Experience providing technical and programmatic advisement to program managers and leadership on SOF acquisition, sustainment, and operational employment
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally to support test events, TEMs, exercises, and operational demonstrations.
  • Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • Experience engineering products for a Maritime SOF environment
  • Knowledge of engineering products for denied area operations

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with stakeholders to align research, development, procurement, and sustainment funding with future program needs
  • Work in groups or independently with minimal or no supervision
  • Responsible for data management and generation
