About The Position

The Technical Operations team at TripleLift is the center of excellence for all publisher-side integrations, driving seamless setup and troubleshooting across various advertising formats including Native, Display, CTV and Online Video. As a Senior Technical Operations Manager you’ll serve as the primary technical partner for our premium publishers, guiding them through integrations, diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues and proactively identifying optimization opportunities to drive revenue growth. You will collaborate with internal teams such as Publisher Client Services, Publisher Development, and Engineering to optimize publisher revenue, resolve technical issues and ensure the health and scalability of publisher’s supply. Your daily activities will include onboarding publisher’s inventory, analyzing and resolving integration discrepancies, decisioning on optimal setup strategies, running reports to validate successful integration launches and enabling demand across TripleLift’s programmatic channels. You will also leverage advanced troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical challenges, using debugging tools and escalating to second-line support when necessary.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working at an SSP/DSP
  • Hands-on experience with ad serving technologies (Google Ad Manager, FreeWheel, Smart, Xandr etc.), with especially strong knowledge of Google Ad Manager and Google Publisher Tag technologies.
  • Experience working with various APIs & SDKs within the context of the programmatic advertising ecosystem
  • Proven knowledge of Prebid.js , oRTB and server side technologies
  • Familiarity with User IDs, User syncing and EIDs
  • StrongExperience with HTML, CSS, JS, SQL, testing and debugging (Postman), browser Dev Tools (especially Chrome dev tools)
  • Comfortable diving into exchange code to uncover potential issues relevant for troubleshooting various supply side issues.
  • Experience of managing and resolving publisher side discrepancies
  • Strong troubleshooting experience within the digital supply ecosystem

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communications or a related discipline is preferred, though candidates with relevant experience who hold other degrees will be considered.
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience for an SSP/DSP

  • Experience of managing cases within Salesforce and utilizing other ticketing systems such as JIRA.
  • Advanced Excel skills

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for assigned publisher accounts, building strong relationships with their operational & technical teams.
  • Be a technical consultant during the pre-sales process for our publishers, advising on best practices, recommendations and wrapper knowledge to ensure a seamless launch.
  • Be the first point of escalation for clients for technical & operational issues, working cross functionally with internal teams as needed to resolve issues.
  • Write custom SQL queries to not only pull but also draw insights directly from data platforms such as Databricks and Snowflake.
  • Monitor KPIs such as fill rate, latency and match rates to assess integration health and make data driven optimization recommendations.
  • Conduct regular health checks to correct configuration errors, optimise placements and update legacy setups
  • Leverage web traffic analysis tools and ad verification solutions, including debugging on page (Chrome developer tools) and troubleshooting GAM/Ad Server reporting discrepancies
  • Internally partner with product & engineering teams to provide client feedback that will drive prioritization of Triplelift’s product roadmap.
  • Be the Technical stakeholder for publisher QBRs and is comfortable presenting on topics related to data, integrations and functionality related questions from publishers.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, HTML, and data analysis, with the ability to troubleshoot and interpret complex datasets.
  • Launch experiments in conjunction with internal stakeholders and publisher clientele to advance monetization strategies and techniques;
  • Utilize knowledge of HTML and CSS, resolve publisher placement render issues.
