Role Overview The Implementation Consultant will manage multiple WMS projects simultaneously, guiding clients through software deployment, configuration, training, and go‑live support. This role partners directly with client warehouse operations teams as well as internal development resources to ensure WMS solutions meet operational needs and deliver measurable efficiency improvements.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution workflows.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Ability to collaborate closely with technical development teams.

Responsibilities

  • WMS Implementation & Project Leadership Lead implementation of new and upgraded WMS releases for national clients across wholesale, retail, and food-service distribution environments.
  • Manage full project lifecycle including discovery, configuration, testing, training, deployment, and post‑go‑live support.
  • Coordinate multiple projects at various stages, ensuring timeline adherence and effective resource allocation.
  • Client Engagement & Operational Analysis Serve as a subject matter expert on warehouse management processes and WMS best practices.
  • Analyze warehouse operations (50K–500K sq. ft.) to identify opportunities for workflow optimization and elimination of non‑value‑added activities.
  • Provide training, support, and knowledge transfer to client internal operations teams.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration Work directly with internal Development Services to define and communicate software enhancement requests based on client needs.
  • Ensure configuration or development changes align with operational goals and produce measurable improvements.
  • Foster teamwork across internal departments with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
  • Quality, Support, & Continuous Improvement Deliver high‑quality documentation, training materials, and project status updates.
  • Provide hands‑on support during system testing, rollout, and stabilization periods.
  • Champion best practices for warehouse operations and WMS utilization to maximize client ROI.
