The Faculty of Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Technical Coordinator - Maker Space. The Senior Technical Coordinator - Maker Space provides a variety of professional and high-quality technical services to assist in the management and operations of the Monash Makerspace Network. As the successful candidate you will be responsible for acting as a recognised authority in technical processes providing supervision, technical advice and training to staff, students and other stakeholders, including compliance with technical standards and protocols. Further, you will independently supervise, implement and deliver a high-level technical service which may include day-to-day technical operations such as inductions, training and supporting the use of manual machining, an understanding of CNC programming is advantageous. The ideal candidate will bring substantial relevant skills and work experience. The role requires a trade background with at least fifteen years post apprenticeship experience working in a relevant industry, or a degree in a relevant field with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
