Senior Technical Accountant (Controllership)
About The Position
MTech Systems provides enterprise SaaS solutions used by producers across more than 50 countries. Our finance team supports a complex, global environment that requires strong technical accounting rigor and compliance. We are seeking a Senior Technical Accountant to strengthen our controllership function with deep expertise in revenue recognition and technical accounting. This role partners closely with the Controller and FinOps team to ensure accurate, compliant financial reporting across entities. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys documentation, policy ownership, and solving complex accounting issues.
Responsibilities
- Own revenue accounting policies and compliance (ASC 606 / IFRS)
- Define and document technical accounting frameworks (revenue, leases, intercompany)
- Support CapEx accounting, capitalization, and depreciation
- Partner with FinOps to ensure accurate accruals and cross‑entity charges
- Support balance sheet reconciliations and reviews
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and analysis
- Provide audit support and respond to technical accounting inquiries
- Support international accounting and tax considerations
