About The Position

As a Senior Controllership Analyst here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in supporting the controllership function and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for the Building Automation strategic business group. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, compliance with accounting policies and internal controls, and driving the financial close processes. You will report directly to our Senior Controllership Manager, and you'll work out of our Atlanta, GA location on a hybrid work schedule. The Senior Controllership Analyst position is an early career development position for individuals with public accounting experience, designed to provide targeted training, mentorship, and accelerated career progression. The position is a unique opportunity to transition from public accounting to industry and gain exposure to various financial disciplines and Honeywell processes. Responsibilities

  • Accounting operations: Monthly close activities, reporting and account analysis for the Building Automation strategic business group. Partner with regional shared service centers. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with accounting policies.
  • Business partnership: Support transactions and provide financial analysis and accounting insight to achieve desired business and accounting outcomes.
  • Financial reporting: Prepare schedules used in the quarterly and annual financial statements and footnotes.
  • Audit and Controls: Respond to audit requests and inquiries supporting quarterly and annual financial statements as well as SOX and compliance testing.
  • Special projects: Execute projects such as support of acquisition or divestiture transactions and finance functional transformation.
