About The Position

We are seeking a Technical Accounting Senior to join our expanding Corporate Accounting team. This new position offers the opportunity to work on complex accounting topics and directly contribute to the foundation of a newly built Technical Accounting department. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, excellent analytical skills, and the curiosity to research, interpret, and apply accounting standards in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred (or passed sections toward certification).
  • 2–3 years of accounting experience (public accounting or large corporate environment).
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and exposure to complex accounting topics.
  • Hands-on experience with audit coordination and preparation of technical accounting documentation.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with OneStream, Blackline, or similar tools preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Research and document accounting conclusions on complex transactions including, but not limited to, business combinations, leases (ASC 842), Current Expected Credit Losses (CECL / ASC 326), debt refinancing, and derivatives.
  • Assist in drafting new accounting policies and procedures, including process flowcharts and internal controls.
  • Support quarterly and annual reporting deliverables with detailed analysis and supporting documentation.
  • Work directly with external auditors, preparing requested schedules and providing technical explanations.
  • Collaborate with SEC Reporting, Consolidations, and Corporate Accounting teams to ensure technical accuracy and consistency across the company.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects, including system implementations and integration activities.
  • Demonstrate initiative, accountability, and adaptability in managing competing priorities within deadlines.
