About The Position

The Air Export Senior Team Lead will oversee and manage a team of air export coordinators and ensure that all air export shipments are handled in compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations. The individual will also be responsible for coordinating with clients, carriers, and customs officials to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in air export operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
  • Strong knowledge of air export regulations and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Familiarity with logistics software and systems (e.g., TMS, WMS)

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in air export operations (e.g., IATA)
  • Experience with air export operations in multiple regions (e.g., Asia, Europe, Americas)
  • Familiarity with customs regulations and procedures in multiple countries
  • Experience with implementing process improvements and driving efficiency gains

Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise a team of air export coordinators and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with clients, carriers, and customs officials to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all air export shipments
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws governing air export shipments
  • Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders
  • Provide regular reports on team performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Participate in training and development programs to ensure that team members are up-to-date on industry developments and regulatory changes
