About The Position
The air export agent is responsible for preparing and arranging shipments for exportation via airfreight in compliance with export regulation.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in international export operation
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Detail oriented and Well organized
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently
- Problem Solver
Nice To Haves
- Previous knowledge of cargo operations preferred
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all aspects of air exportation including master airwaybill creation, house airwaybill creation, and proper air carrier selection.
- Closely track and trace all international export cargo, update milestones in CargoWise.
- Communicate daily with airlines, vendors, truckers, customers, sales representatives, and overseas offices.
- Follow customer SOPs.
- Respond to internal and external emails/requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance is met at all times for internal and external rules & regulations.
- Other duties as assigned
