We are seeking a Senior Tax Lead to play a critical role in shaping and scaling our global tax function. This role is designed for a highly experienced tax professional who will serve as a key internal authority on complex tax matters, overseeing enterprise-wide compliance and driving strategic tax initiatives. You will partner closely with Finance, Legal, and Corporate Development to support global expansion, entity structuring, and business transformation efforts. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in public accounting, corporate tax, or a combination of both.
  • Deep expertise in corporate income tax, exposure to international tax concepts and multi-entity structures is preferred
  • Proven experience managing complex tax matters, audits, and third-party advisors.
  • Strong understanding of global tax compliance, reporting requirements, and regulatory environments.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate complex tax concepts into business decisions.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities in high-ambiguity environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Ability to lead through influence and manage external partners effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and risk mitigation.

Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Tax Oversight: Own enterprise-level oversight of federal, state, and international tax compliance across all entities, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and risk mitigation at scale.
  • Tax Strategy & Advisory: Serve as the senior internal authority on complex, high-risk, or non-routine tax matters, providing guidance on tax positions and resolving ambiguous issues across domestic and international jurisdictions.
  • Global Tax Planning: Lead coordination of international tax strategy in partnership with Legal and Corporate Development, supporting entity structuring, acquisitions, and global expansion initiatives.
  • Third-Party Leadership: Set strategic direction for external tax and accounting firms, defining scope, quality standards, and timelines for global deliverables while ensuring accountability and performance.
  • Compliance & Review: Review and challenge complex tax filings and analyses to ensure alignment between global business activity, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate global tax risks, proactively addressing regulatory changes, audit exposure, and structural risks.
  • Audit Leadership: Serve as the primary escalation point for domestic and international tax audits, coordinating internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure timely and effective resolution.
  • Process & Control Design: Design and implement scalable tax frameworks, documentation standards, and control processes to enhance operational efficiency and governance.
