About The Position

If you’re ready to take the next step in your tax career—moving into a growing, dynamic corporate environment—this opportunity for a Senior Tax Analyst offers challenge, stability, and growth within an established industry leader. Our client, a large-scale organization with revenues in the billions, is building out its internal tax function. This newly created position will join a collaborative five-person tax team and report directly to the VP of Finance. The company operates within the engineering and large-scale project sector, but direct industry experience is not required—what matters most is your ability to navigate the tax complexities of a large corporate environment, with prior experience ideally working with $500M+ in revenue.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Tax (CPA a plus but not required).
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience; a combination of public accounting and corporate tax experience preferred, but public-only candidates are welcome.
  • Exposure to large-company environments (ideally $500M+ in revenue).
  • Experience with tax software such as ONESOURCE or similar systems.
  • Strong analytical and Excel skills, with a process-oriented mindset.
  • A proactive, curious approach—someone who enjoys improving systems and digging into details

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the preparation of quarterly and annual global tax provisions, including federal, state, international, and joint venture components.
  • Partnering closely with Tax Managers and leadership to calculate effective tax rates, analyze tax impacts, and prepare supporting documentation in line with ASC 740 (training available if needed).
  • Assisting with U.S. federal and state income tax compliance for corporate and partnership entities.
  • Helping to resolve audit matters and ensure tax positions are appropriately documented and supported.
  • Contributing to automation and process improvement initiatives as the tax department continues to grow and modernize.
