About The Position

We are seeking an experiencedTax Senior Analyst to join a growing tax department. We’re looking to hire someone with corporate and/or partnership income tax experience, or indirect tax experience. Ideally, someone that’s driven, works well in a team atmosphere, and is looking to grow their career in a rapidly growing company & tax department. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or corporate tax.
• Strong understanding of either corporate income tax or indirect taxes.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong Excel skills

Nice To Haves

• CPA license or progress towards it is often preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tax Preparation & Review: Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns, extensions, and quarterly estimates for various entity types.
• Tax Compliance: Maintain tax calendars, track deadlines, and ensure adherence to all tax laws and regulations.
• Tax Research & Planning: Conduct research on complex tax issues, analyze tax treatments, and assist with tax planning to minimize liabilities.
• Audit Support: Assist with tax audits, prepare workpapers, and respond to inquiries from tax authorities like the IRS.
• Financial Analysis: Analyze financial statements for book-to-tax adjustments and identify discrepancies.
• Process Improvement: Recommend and implement procedures to enhance workflow and efficiency.
